Hampton Inn by Hilton is set to open later this year in Ciudad del Carmen in the state of Campeche.

The 120-room, six-story property will be the 14th Hampton Inn in Mexico. Parent company Hilton Worldwide currently has a portfolio of more than 20 hotels and resorts in Mexico and eight others under development.

“We are excited to introduce another Hampton Inn in Mexico, a country that continues to afford us opportunities to expand in Latin America by targeting key markets with our portfolio of brands,” said Danny Hughes, Hilton Worldwide's senior vice president of operations for the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America.

The Ciudad del Carmen property incorporates architectural and design elements of the brand’s new model for the region, including “the hub,” a public area that offers facilities for working, relaxing or dining.

Other facilities include a fitness center, a pool, a bar, meetings space and a restaurant.
