If travel funds are in short supply for an upcoming family resort stay, Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto has a solution: the Layaway Vacation Plan.
Travelers looking to stay at the resort, on the east coast of Baja north of Cabo San Lucas, can reserve a minimum three-night villa stay, make interest-free payments over a six- to 12-month period and, when the vacation is all paid up, enjoy their getaway without facing a hefty bill at checkout.
“Families everywhere are feeling the pinch of our challenging economic times,” said Owen Perry, one of the partners of the Villa Group, a collection of eight resorts in five destinations in Mexico: three in Cabo, one in Cancun, one in Loreto, two on the Riviera Nayarit and one in Puerto Vallarta.
“We want families to enjoy the experience at the Villa del Palmar in a way that makes it affordable and worry-free.”
The 171-villa resort, which opened a year ago, offers a pool, Jacuzzi, spa and fitness center, salsa dance lessons, water games at the kids’ club, a brick oven pizza bar, an all-day restaurant and a gourmet specialty restaurant.
A special winter promotion for clients who opt not to purchase the layaway plan offers a 50% discount through March with rates from $217 per room, per night, for a family of four (two kids share room with parents). Rates increase to $300 per room, per night, April 1.
All-inclusive meal plans are available for $89 per adult and $45 for kids under 12.
