Triathlon set for Mazatlan

The Grand Pacifico Triathlon will take place March 19 and 20 in Mazatlan. The annual event typically draws more than 1,000 competitors from all over the world.

They complete a 1.5 kilometer ocean swim, bicycle along Mazatlan's coastal promenade and finish with a 10-kilometer run through old Mazatlan.

Throughout the two-day event, participants and spectators can participate in a schedule of activities, including cultural festivities.
