Tech challenges tackled at TW show

CruiseWorld and Home Based Agent ShowMore than a dozen peer training and education sessions exploring today's latest technology options and opportunities for travel agents and agency owners will be offered during Travel Weekly's Cruise World & Home Based Agent Show slated for Seattle from June 18-20.

Packed into training and learning sessions on June 19 and 20, the conference itinerary will offer 30-, 60- and 90-minute options to learn what tools are working for travel agency owners and where to invest time and money.

During the Driving Digital and Peer Power sessions, successful travel agency colleagues from both brick-and-mortar locations and home-based businesses will share their successes using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, web chatting, websites, email and more.

"In the travel agency market, it is no longer about where you work but how you work. We are bringing the best and brightest minds together to share their learnings, share their tools and expand their businesses," said Travel Weekly's Editor in Chief Arnie Weissmann. "We know technology changes every day and we will focus on those trends in Seattle by featuring the agents who are embracing and succeeding with these technologies."

A full agenda -- including more than 50 education sessions, more than 60 speakers and nearly 200 exhibitors; ship inspections sponsored by ARC; and post-show fams sponsored by Tourism Vancouver, Tourism Victoria and Tourism Whistler -- is available now at www.travelweeklytradeshows.com.
