Fisher Island Club Hotel & Resort, located on a private, 216-acre island that is accessible by ferry from Miami Beach, finished renovations in August of its renowned tennis center.

The centerpiece of the project was the construction of two red clay tennis courts. With the addition of those courts, Fisher Island now offers all three playing surfaces that are used in tennis' Grand Slam events: the Australian Open (hard court), Wimbledon (grass), the French Open (red clay) and the U.S. Open (hard court).

Along with the hard courts, grass and red clay, Fisher Island counts 12 green clay surfaces among its total of 18 courts.

Renovations to the tennis facility are part of an overall $60 million restoration of Fisher Island Club Hotel & Resort. Its guestrooms, beach club, marina and nine-hole golf course have all been worked on as part of the project.
