With AirTran pulling out of Newport News/Williamsburg Airport in Virginia next month (it was one of the cities scrapped by Southwest when it acquired AirTran), it leaves a regional void, especially on the nonstop New York route.
However, another airline is coming in, although officials are tight-lipped as to which carrier it might be.
