Polar specialist Quark Expeditions is
one of the stars of a seven-part documentary series called “Frozen Planet” that premiered this past weekend on the Discovery Channel. The show is described as “the ultimate portrait of our earth’s polar regions.”
Production crews for the series, a co-production with the BBC, traveled with Quark to capture some of the icy scenes.
