All Nippon Airways said a delay in the development of new premium economy seats will delay the introduction of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the New York-Tokyo Narita route.

ANA was scheduled to introduce the jet on Feb. 20, but the launch date has been pushed back to April 19.

However, the premium economy seats won’t be ready until August, ANA said. In the interim, the new aircraft will have 139 economy seats instead of 112.

Ultimately, ANA plans to have 24 premium economy seats in the new cabin.
