American moves up launch of Beijing flights

By Jerry Limone

American will launch its Chicago-Beijing service on April 26, five days earlier than planned.

The airline said it moved up the start date to accommodate travelers who want to attend China's International Labor Day activities on May 1.

American will offer daily, nonstop service to Beijing using Boeing 777s in a three-class configuration.
