Continental moving operations in Paris and Barcelona

By Jerry Limone

New Star Alliance member Continental Airlines will move airport operations at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Barcelona this month.

On Tuesday, Continental will relocate to El Prat Airport’s Terminal 1, where all other Star Alliance members serving the Barcelona airport are based. Continental operates daily service between Barcelona and Newark.

On Nov. 17, Continental will relocate to Charles de Gaulle’s recently renovated Terminal 1, where most Star Alliance members are based. Continental operates 13 flights per week between Newark and Paris, and daily Newark-Houston service.

Since Oct. 27, when Continental joined Star Alliance, the airline has relocated operations at Frankfurt, Tokyo Narita, Beijing, Chicago, Honolulu and Shanghai.
