Delta is adding nine flights and increasing its seasonal schedule to six warm-weather destinations in mid-December.
Expanded seasonal service begins Dec. 18 between Atlanta and Aruba (second daily flight); Grand Cayman (second Saturday flight); Montego Bay, Jamaica (third daily flight); Turks and Caicos (second Saturday flight); Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (second daily flight); and St. Maarten (second Saturday flight).
A second daily flight from Atlanta to San Juan takes effect Nov. 22 on a year-round basis.
New service launches Dec. 18 from Atlanta to Tegucigalpa, Honduras; Dec. 19 to Guayaquil, Ecuador, and Manaus, Brazil; Dec. 20 to Santiago, Dominican Republic; and Dec. 21 to Recife-Fortaleza, Brazil.
From New York Kennedy, service starts Dec. 18 to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Bogota, Columbia; and Dec. 20 to Bonaire.
Nashville-Cancun service starts on Dec. 27.
“Latin America and the Caribbean are the fastest-growing regions this season for Delta,” said Christophe Didier, Delta’s vice president of sales and government affairs for Latin America and the Caribbean.
