Frontier extends K.C.-Cancun service

By Laura Del Rosso

Frontier Airlines extended its seasonal nonstop service between Kansas City and Cancun through Aug. 28, marking the first time the airline has offered summer nonstop service on the route.

Frontier will operate two weekly flights on Saturdays and Sundays from April 19 to May 2. Then, beginning on May 3, the carrier will operate one Saturday flight through Aug. 28.

"The response to our nonstop service to Cancun has been tremendous," said Daniel Shurz, Frontier's vice president of planning and strategy. "And our summer schedule in this market allows connections in both directions between Milwaukee and Cancun, giving even more customers the chance to get away for the summer."
