Grenadine Airways to offer weekly St. Vincent-St. Lucia service

Grenadine Airways, a local commuter line based in St. Vincent, will launch weekly Sunday service Jan. 27 on 19-seat Twin Otters to St. Lucia's Hewanorra International Airport with stops in Bequia and Union Island in the Grenadines en route.

The flight will depart St. Vincent at 12:30 p.m., arrive in Bequia at 12:40 p.m., depart Bequia at 12:50 p.m., arrive at Union Island at 1:05 p.m., depart Union Island at 1:15 p.m. for arrival in St. Lucia at 1:50 p.m.

The one-way fare is $150 per person, plus a $25 fuel surcharge and $15 head tax.

Additional flights will be added if there is sufficient demand, according to Paul Gravel, managing director, Grenadine Airways.
