Investor group buys Mexicana

A group of private investors has acquired 95% of Mexicana Airlines for an undisclosed amount, according to reports. 

The group of Mexican businessmen, called Tenedora K, was formed in association with Mexico’s largest pilots' union, which owns 5% of Mexicana.

With the acquisition, Mexicana CEO Manuel Borja reportedly has resigned his post.
