JetBlue narrowed the choices for its new headquarters to either the New York City metro area or Orlando.
The airline, now based in Forest Hills, N.Y., said the final decision won't be made until sometime during the first quarter of 2010.
Both cities, JetBlue said, have "tremendous synergies with the JetBlue brand and business model."
Several U.S. cities had vied to be the new home for the low-cost carrier, sending in confidential proposals for review.
