SWA offers mobile boarding pass at all U.S. airports

Southwest Airlines has finished the domestic rollout of technology enabling mobile boarding passes.

At all U.S. airports where Southwest flies, customers can use their smartphones or other electronic devices to get through security checkpoints and to board aircraft.

Testing began in the fall of 2013 in Austin, Texas, followed by successful pilot programs in Houston and Dallas.
