LOS ANGELES -- Singapore Airlines, its bookings still taking a hit
from the SARS outbreak, said it is canceling the Chicago and Las
Vegas service it previously had suspended until May 31.
The number of frequencies to Los Angeles also was cut in half
May 2, to seven flights a week.
The reductions are part of an overall cut of 298 weekly
frequencies in May, which means the airline now has cut 28.9% of
its capacity in April and May.
