Brazil's Tam Airlines by June 2014 will leave Star Alliance for Oneworld.
Tam is part of the Latam Airlines Group, which also includes long-time Oneworld member Lan Airlines.
Lan and Tam merged in June 2012 and quickly began work on aligning corporate sales.
Meanwhile, regional subsidiary Lan Colombia also will join Oneworld as an affiliate member by the end of 2013.
