The grounding of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is delaying United Airlines from launching two international routes that won’t even use the 787.
United plans to operate a 767-300 on a San Francisco-Paris route, but the airline has postponed the launch until April 26 because the plane is not available; it is being used on one of the routes where United had been planning to use the 787.
San Francisco-Taipei service on a Boeing 777 has been postponed until June 6.
United says the airline has six fewer aircraft because the 787 has been grounded.
