Corporate travel managers in North America are more concerned with cost savings and online booking tools than their Latin America counterparts, according to a study by the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA).
North America travel managers said cost was the most important facet of satisfaction with their travel management company (TMC), while technology was also a major driver.
Latin America travel professionals were more concerned about global services and the assurance of client safety and security.
Overall, 73% of North America travel managers were satisfied with their TMC, compared with 80% of Latin America travel managers.
The results were from a poll of more than 500 corporate travel managers last spring. Carlson Wagonlit Travel sponsored the survey.
