The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) has launched a certification program for business travel professionals.
Global Travel Professional Certification will be offered through the GBTA Academy, an educational institution GBTA introduced last year.
GBTA said examination questions will be based on the results of an industry job survey of knowledge and skills that business travel professionals need. The first GTP examination will be administered prior to the 2012 GBTA Convention in Boston on July 22.
