Omega World Travel implements Sabre's new itinerary app

By Jerry Limone

Omega World Travel has become the first travel management company to integrate, promote and distribute TripCase, Sabre Travel Studios' mobile itinerary application.

Omega, headquartered in Fairfax, Va., serves corporate and government clientele.

Sabre and Omega said customers' travel plans are integrated into the TripCase platform, enabling Omega to communicate directly with travelers post-booking and in transit.

TripCase is a free mobile application that provides real-time trip information to travelers from the moment of booking until their return. TripCase provides flight alerts; flight departure and arrival status; information on gate changes; and car rental shuttle information. It also enables travelers to share their itinerary with colleagues and family.

TripCase supports BlackBerry, iPhone, iTouch and Windows Mobile devices, with Android connectivity anticipated later this quarter, said Sabre.
