Rearden powers corporate tool for Travel Leaders

By Nadine Godwin

Travel Leaders Corporate has relaunched its Compass-branded technology suite, which is now powered by Rearden Commerce.

Rearden’s platform includes a corporate booking tool, ExpenseWire expense-management tool and other applications for managing ancillary corporate spending such as dining, ground transportation, shipping, airport parking, Web conferencing and entertainment services.

The relaunched Compass brings together Rearden’s management tools with a number of components previously incorporated into the Compass platform.

According to Travel Leaders’ website, those components include software programs designed to manage and track policy compliance, quality control, document delivery and ticket tracking; customized management reports; and flight notification.

Travel Leaders’ franchised associates will have the option to resell the newly constituted Compass Travel Management platform to their clients, Rearden said.

In its announcement, Rearden also said the newly integrated Compass offering creates a "full-service program for a self-service environment."

Rearden said travel managers using a dashboard application can tailor their programs based on their company’s travel management objectives and enforce policies; automate quality-control protocols; provide detailed reporting and tracking; and manage negotiated supplier programs.
