Aloft hotels to open in Nashville, Bay Area

By Danny King
Aloft hotels will open in the San Francisco Bay Area and Nashville, marking the debut of the 4-year-old brand in both metropolitan areas.

The 253-room Aloft San Francisco Airport, formerly a Clarion, underwent a 14-month redevelopment. Aloft's parent company, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, also has a Westin and a Sheraton near SFO.

In Nashville, Starwood reflagged the former Hotel Indigo Nashville Music Row as the Aloft Nashville West End. That property has 139 rooms.
