Auberge introduces activities collection

By Gay Nagle Myers
Auberge Resorts, which owns and operates nine small luxury properties in North America, including Esperanza in Cabo San Lucas, launched Auberge Adventures, a collection of exploration, enrichment and discovery programs for guests, tailored to each individual property.

Programs range from culinary experiences to fitness and cultural activities, and many are led by local experts and leaders in their fields.

“Our guests are active, inquisitive and eager to explore,” said CEO Mark Harmon. “Auberge Adventures go beyond the conventional to offer new and different ways to experience a destination.”

Highlights of the programs at Esperanza include an art-lover’s tour of the studios and galleries of Todos Santos, a historical Baja town an hour’s drive north of Cabo; a surfing adventure at Los Cerritos, midway between Cabo and Todos Santos; a cooking lesson and bonfire on the beach at Esperanza; and stand-up paddle-boarding in a protected bay in the Sea of Cortes.

The programs last from two hours to a full day; prices vary, depending upon the program, although some are complimentary to guests.
