Baltimore hotel to fly Embassy Suites flag

By Danny King
Embassy Suites will reflag the Tremont Plaza Hotel & Grand Historic Venue on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

The 300-room hotel will become the Embassy Suites Baltimore next year, and will be managed by Kokua Hospitality.

The adjoining building, the Grand Historic Venue, has 45,000 square feet of meeting space. It was built in 1866 and received a $27 million renovation in 2006.

With the reflagging, Hilton Worldwide’s Embassy Suites brand will have three hotels in the Baltimore area.
