Benchmark takes over Miami-area hotel

Benchmark Hospitality International has replaced Starwood as operator of what was a Le Meridien hotel in Sunny Isles Beach, Fla.

The 190-room hotel has been renamed the Marenas Resort. The property is situated on a 2.5-mile stretch of sand in Sunny Isles Beach, a resort town on a barrier island north of Miami.
