Holland America Line said it will convert its Queens Lounge on the Eurodam into a B.B. King's Blues Club five nights a week on cruises through June 20.

In addition, a live stage show called "Memphis Sounds" produced by B.B. King's Blues Club CEO Tommy Peters will headline one night each week on the Eurodam's Mainstage.

An eight-piece band will entertain in the lounge, which will be redecorated with a custom-built stage and portraits of King. Specialty cocktails from the land-based clubs will be served.

Holland America's executive vice president of marketing, Rick Meadows, said he expects to take the show and club to other HAL ships in 2013 and beyond.
