Hilton Worldwide has added "by Hilton" to the official brand names of Embassy
Suites and Hampton, embarking on what it called the “next phase of a renewed
business strategy.”
Other Hilton brands, including DoubleTree and the newer Curio and Canopy, include the parent company affiliation in their official names.
Hampton has
more than 2,000 properties worldwide, while Embassy Suites has about 220.
Almost half of those properties will have received a collective $300 million in
improvements by 2019, Hilton said Monday.
