The West Coast’s first hotel under InterContinental Hotels
Group’s new Even brand is scheduled to open in Seattle in 2017.
A 123-room Even hotel and a 112-room Staybridge Suites will
be part of a development in Seattle’s South Lake Union district.
Even is a wellness-oriented brand. Like other Even hotels,
the Seattle property will feature in-room “training zones” with yoga mat, balance
ball and other exercise equipment. Guests
will have a healthy grab-and-go option at the Cork & Kale Market and Bar.
The Staybridge section will offer free breakfast.
IHG opened the world’s first two Even hotels in Norwalk, Conn.,
and Rockville, Md., last year. IHG first announced the brand in 2012.
