Luxury abounds at Radisson Blu property in Paris

Rezidor Hotel Group opened the Radisson Blu Le Dokhan's Hotel, Paris Trocadero with such upscale touches as a posh champagne bar and an elevator created from a vintage Louis Vuitton trunk.

The 45-room property, housed in an 18th-century building that formerly was a private residence near the Champs Elysees, brings the number of Radisson Blu properties (formerly Radisson SAS) in Paris to six.

Rates in April start at $325 per night but drop 20% to about $258 for a three-night Jetsetter Weekend promotion. The package, good through January 2010, must be booked by April 30.
