Marriott International’s Autograph Collection added Turnberry Isle Miami to its group of boutique hotels.
Turnberry Isle isthe third South Florida hotel to join the Autograph Collection since February.
Located in Aventura, about 15 miles north of Miami, the 300-acre property has 400 rooms, two golf courses and a 40,000-square-foot conference center. Turnberry Isle Miami was built in 1971.
Marriott in February said it would add Miami Beach’s Blue Moon and Winter Haven hotels to the Autograph Collection. Both of those hotels, which were built in the 1930s, are being restored this year.
Marriott debuted the Autograph Collection in 2010. The group now includes 32 hotels, including New York’s Algonquin and Las Vegas' Cosmopolitan.
