W hotel opens in downtown NYC

The W New York-Downtown has opened in the city’s Financial District on the corner of Washington and Albany streets.

The hotel, which is located in a 58-floor building, has 217 guestrooms and 223 W-branded residences.

In addition to 23 seats at the bar, the hotel’s BLT Bar & Grill accommodates 148 guests indoors and 30 patrons on the outdoor patio.
