Hotels in Westmark’s Alaska portfolio reopened this week after receiving upgrades and renovations over the off-season.
The Westmark Whitehorse and the Baranof in Juneau both have new fitness centers; rooms were renovated at the properties in Sitka, Beaver Creek, Klondike Inn and Juneau; restaurants were remodeled in Whitehorse and Skagway; the property in Dawson has a new hothouse to grow vegetables and herbs for its restaurant, and for guests to visit; and the Westmark in Tok has a remodeled Factory Outlet Gift Shop, remodeled buffet and lounge areas, and two new lobby computers for guests to use.
Westmark, a subsidiary of Holland America Line, has 10 properties in Alaska and the Yukon Territory.
