Paolo Mantegazza, 34, Globus & Cosmos CEO

LITTLETON, Colo. -- Paolo Mantegazza, 34, president and CEO of Group Voyagers, which markets its tour products as Globus & Cosmos, died last week.

The company said the cause of death was unknown.

Mantegazza became president and CEO in January 1998.

He was the grandson of Antonio Mantegazza, who founded Globus Viaggi in 1928.

Before joining the family business, Paolo Mantegazza worked in risk management in the global capital markets for Bankers Trust in London and in asset management at Credit Suisse in New York.

He is survived by his wife Staci, two children, his parents Mr. and Ms. Sergio Mantegazza of Lugano, Switzerland, and a brother Fabio, and a sister, Dolores.
