ARC to hold Helix Symposium in Atlantic City

Helping travel professionals understand their own selling personas and their clients' buyer personas is the focus of a session being held at ARC's Helix Symposium in Atlantic City, N.J., June 3 and 4.

Helix is the ARC agency membership program that offers members a network of preferred suppliers, as well as education and training.

Joanie Ogg, principal of Joanie Ogg Marketing Group, will lead the Atlantic City session, which is aimed at helping agents learn to increase revenue and attract new clients.

“It’s not enough today to approach consumers without a deeper understanding of what motivates them as an individual, and how they see you in the same light,” Ogg said in a statement. “Appreciating a buyer’s persona and how that interacts with your own will help you attract new clients and sell more travel overall.”

The symposium will is open to Helix members as well as those wishing to join the program.

Stuart Cohen of Exclamation Points Inc. will also speak at the event, which will include a supplier "speed dating" session to give attendees a chance to connect one-on-one with each of the 13 preferred suppliers attending the event.
