Another YTB executive resigns

By Jerry Limone

YTB International said Andrew Cauthen, the company's corporate secretary, resigned on Feb. 23.

Cauthen had been with YTB since November 2004, when he joined the multilevel-marketing travel company as chief operating officer.

Earlier this month, YTB's CFO, John Clagg, resigned. In October, YTB founder Lloyd "Coach" Tomer resigned as director and chairman, Scott Tomer gave up his co-CEO duties and Robert Van Patten was appointed sole CEO.

The beleaguered company has struggled with recruitment and retention of sales agents in the past two years, particularly after last May's settlement of a California lawsuit that charged YTB operated a pyramid scheme.
