Travelport and AA again extend content agreement

By Kate Rice

Travelport and American Airlines said that the existing full-content agreements between American and Travelport’s GDSs (Apollo, Galileo and Worldspan) have been extended concurrently and are no longer due to expire until early 2013.

In the interim, Travelport and American will continue to negotiate in the hopes of reaching a new long-term agreement. Terms of Travelport’s subscriber opt-in programs for AA remain unchanged.

Prior to the expiration of their deal on Oct. 31, Travelport and American had extended it through the end of 2012.
