Tripology finds a buyer

By Jerry Limone

An unnamed company has signed a letter of intent to acquire Tripology, a lead-generation service for travel agents, according to the company's CEO.

"While I cannot tell you with whom we've signed this deal or the details of the agreement, I will tell you it is a name you all know," Tripology CEO John Peters said on the company's blog.

Tripology terminated its staff earlier this month after a new investor decided not to fund the company.

Through March 5, Tripology is offering free leads to all agents with accounts in good standing. "This is our way of saying thank you for your patience this month," Peters said.
