Vegas, D.C. newest Millennials in Travel chapters

Millennials in Travel is launching chapters in Las Vegas and Washington, D.C.

The group has grown to six chapters in six months; it also has chapters in Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles and Atlanta.

The Las Vegas chapter launched earlier this month, the Washington chapter will launch next week.

Las Vegas chapter officers include Brian Harris, Destination Site Selection, and Brittany Harris, MGM Resorts International.

Washington chapter officers are Omar Banihani, Jordan Tourism Board; Babs Pinette, ARC; Mandy Valkenburg, Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C. and Beth Jenkins, McCabe World Travel.

The Washington launch event will be at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 5 at the Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C.

Mandarin Oriental also hosted the Las Vegas and Atlanta chapter launches.

Millennials in Travel is a career development and networking organization for young professionals in the travel industry. Members can work or be pursuing a career at travel agencies, tour operators, cruise lines, hotels, tourism boards, consortia, airlines, travel publications, travel marketing or travel representation companies.
