ARC Wednesday introduced logos, the ARC Accreditation Mark and the VTC (Verified Travel Consultant) Mark, which accredited travel agents can use to promote their ARC credentials to consumers and suppliers.

Allan Muten, ARC’s director of strategic communications, said ARC is responding to requests from accredited agents for rights to promote their ARC credentials with a service mark. The high-resolution service marks are available in six colors, free of charge, to the accredited agencies and ARC-certified VTCs.

On ARC’s Web site, agents can register and find guidelines for obtaining and using the ARC and VTC marks online and in print.

ARC said consumers will be able to enter an agent’s ARC number at ARC’s corporate Web site to verify accreditation status.
