WASHINGTON -- Lawmakers in the House and Senate introduced
legislation on May 20 that would require congressional approval in
order to continue imposing economic sanctions and travel
restrictions on Cuba.
Under the "Cuba Sanctions Reform Act," restrictions dealing with
the island would expire in one year, unless specifically renewed by
Congress.
