ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- C.A. (Buzz) Moore, 66, a former ASTA
officer, died in his sleep of an apparent heart attack Sept. 17.
Moore owned and operated the Minneapolis-based House of Travel
for close to 35 years. He was Upper Midwest ASTA chapter president
in 1978; area director (1979-82); treasurer (1983-84); and vice
chairman (1985-86). He also served on the ASTA's Marketing
Services, Inc. (AMSI) board in the early 1980s.
His five children and Rosemary Tyler, his companion of 15 years,
will host a "celebration" of his life from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 11
at Burl Oaks Golf Club, 5400 North Arm Drive, Minnetrista, Minn.
Eldest son Kevin Moore said the family is staging a party for
family and industry colleagues, in keeping with his father's
wishes.
