Florida-based company the Moorings will debut seven-day crewed yacht charters in Cuba in 2017 aboard a 58-foot catamaran with five ensuite guest cabins.

The educational program conforms with current U.S. travel regulations and features daily excursions with visits to the Hemingway House, Tobacco Farm Benito, Havana's Hotel Nacional and Revolution Square; interactions with Cuban artists, musicians; and exposure to Cuban history and current events.

Josie Tucci, general manager of the Moorings, said that "the combination of daytime and sunset sailing, paired with a variety of expert-chosen onshore activities creates, an incredible cultural experience."

The charter experience includes a captain and a chef on board and a driver and local tour guide onshore. All-inclusive rates for a weeklong charter, which includes 10 guests, the crew, food and beverages, land tours, scheduled meals ashore and local tour guides, start at $40,110. The charters will be based out of Marina Hemingway in Havana and Marina Gaviota in Varadero.
