Holland America Line has raised the charges on many of its
specialty restaurants.
Effective Aug. 1, the cover charge for dining at the elite
Pinnacle Grill went from $29 to $35 per person. At the Asian-themed Tamarind, the
price rose from $20 to $25, and at the Canaletto Italian restaurant, the cover
went to from $10 to $15.
Meals served once a cruise on select ships under the menus
from Le Cirque and De Librije remain at $49 and $69, respectively.
Dining packages increased to reflect the underlying price
increases in the restaurants. A package of two nights in the Pinnacle Grill
goes from $52 to $62. The Signature Dining Package, which includes a dinner in
Pinnacle Grill and Canaletto, increased from $35 to $44, while a package of
Pinnacle, Tamarind and Canaletto available on the Nieuw Amsterdam and Eurodam increased
from $50 to $65.
