The Resort Tower at Bally's Las Vegas has a new look. The historic Strip casino resort, previously dubbed the Bonanza and the MGM Grand, has just completed a $125 million renovation of its main hotel tower, which includes 2,052 rooms and suites.
The update brought new furniture, dark wood tones with bursts of red, geometric wall patterns, USB charging stations and glass-enclosed showers to a variety of room types, including the 440-square-foot Resort room and Studio, Executive, Premium and Presidential suites. The remainder of Bally's 2,800-room inventory, in the Jubilee Tower, was renovated in 2014.
As part of the recent refurbish, 2,000 rooms worth of used furniture from Bally's was donated to Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas, hurricane relief work in Houston and other nonprofit groups.
The Bally's refresh has been part of a company-wide initiative to update hotel rooms across Caesars Entertainment's Las Vegas portfolio. Including the 3,735 rooms renovated this year, the company will have spruced up 15,500 rooms, or 67% of its total Vegas inventory, since 2014.
