USA Controversial sports figures put on a show at Caesars Palace By Sarah Feldberg / January 06, 2018 Share 1 -- Jose Canseco, Jim McMahon and Terrell Owens walk into a bar. That's not the start of a lazy joke, it's the premise behind "Renegades," a new show opening January 25 inside Cleopatra's Barge at Caesars Palace. Jose Canseco, a World Series-winning slugger who has admitted using steroids, is one of the first panelists on "Renegades" at Caesars Palace. Photo Credit: Cashman Photo The intimate lounge will host a rotating cast of sports greats, who will share memories of their playing days and field questions from the crowd in a freewheeling format that leaves room for surprises. Hosted by comedian Martin Montana, the show will debut with two-time World Series champ (and admitted steroid user) Jose Canseco in the hot seat, alongside former Bears quarterback (and "Super Bowl Shuffle" star) Jim McMahon and the Michigan Fab Five's Jimmy King. Starting Feb. 8, potent and petulant NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens, will take over for King. The athletes will rotate every three months with a new cast of pros sharing tales of their ups and downs with the crowd at the Barge. "Renegades" will run at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays with tickets going for $75 and $100. For $300, the VIP package includes select seating, merchandise and a meet-and-greet with the cast after the curtain closes. For more information, visit caesars.com.
