CroisiEurope is launching the 62-passenger Indochine II in
Phnom Penh, Cambodia, this Saturday.
The vessel features 31 staterooms at 194 square feet. Each
has 43-square-foot private balconies. The interior decor combines French
colonial style with more contemporary touches.
The public areas include a restaurant at the stern of the
vessel and a panoramic lounge and bar at the bow, both with large windows.
There is an outdoor bar and lounge alongside the pool on the upper deck. The
entryway features an atrium lobby. Massage services will be available. The
Indochine II will have a 29-person Cambodian crew and a French cruise director.
The vessel was built in Vietnamese shipyards in partnership
with Stirling Design International, an architecture firm based in Nantes,
France. It measures 213 feet long and 43 feet wide and has a shallow 3.2-foot
draft that allows it to cruise further on Cambodia's Tonle Sap Lake, said
CroisiEurope.
The vessel will cruise the Mekong River between Ho Chi Minh
City in Vietnam and Siem Reap in Cambodia from August to April. It joins the company's 48-passsnger Indochine, which was
built in 2008.
