Frontier Airlines announced 10 new routes Tuesday, bolstering the ultra-low-cost carrier's route network in Cleveland, Cincinnati and San Diego.

Frontier will fly from Cleveland to Charlotte, Minneapolis, Houston Intercontinental and San Diego, with routes launching in April and May.

In May, San Diego will be a new Frontier destination from Cincinnati, joining route launches in April from Cincinnati to New York LaGuardia and Minneapolis.

Also in April, Frontier will add flights from Austin to San Diego and Washington Dulles. And that same month, the carrier will begin flying between San Antonio and Chicago.

Nine of the routes will operate either a Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday schedule or a Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday schedule. Frontier will fly daily between Cincinnati and New York.
