JetSuiteX, a new
air service, has announced its second
route.
Beginning May 26,
the carrier will offer weekday and Sunday service between Las Vegas' MacCarran Airport and Bob Hope
Airport in Burbank, Calif.
The route commences just over a month after JetSuiteX began flying from Burbank
to Buchanan Field in Concord, Calif. That service will be increased to three times per day this month.
JetSuiteX is a
new venture for the 7-year-old charter company JetSuite, which until now
has offered only premium-priced private bookings to members. JetSuiteX makes
use of Embraer twin-engine jets, and the company is promising high-end service
at competitive prices. The Las Vegas-Burbank flights start at
$129 each way.
All JetSuiteX
flights depart from private jet terminals, eliminating the delays associated
with security screenings and long walks to the gate. In addition, the airline
says it will offer at least 36 inches between rows, similar to the space that
passengers get on many domestic first-class seats with
mainline U.S. carriers.
Other comforts
include a configuration with just three seats per row and free WiFi and
streaming entertainment.
